Hair Associates offer a foundation modern Apprenticeship which equates to the NVQ Level 2 ad Key Skills in Application of Number Level 1 and communication level 1. This is obtained by working in a Hair Associates salon for 4 days per week and 1 day training in a designated Hair Associates salon with qualified assessors.
During the training, 'hands-on' practical training takes plc on paying models. Theory training is held once every 5 weeks.
Following on from this qualification, assistants can develop further and complete a Modern Apprenticeship. Advance Modern Apprenticeships equate to NVQ level 3, Key Skills in Application of Number and Communication level 2, and a Technical Certificate in hairdressing. The education for these awards is provided by a qualified assessor and our creative division in the allocated base salon of the assistant.
The above education is enhanced by work shops held by Goldwell and the hair associates Creative division.
Stylists Education consists of workshops held by Goldwell, soiree evenings, guest companies holding demonstrations and the Hair Associates Creative Division. Hair Associates are also able to offer potential educators the A1 and A2 qualification to become assessors for the NVQ qualifications.
